Acting Chief government Spokesperson Stephen Kampyongo has questioned the rationale by the UPND to complain to SADC over the voters’ register.

Mr. Kampyongo who is also Home Affairs Minister says UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema should know the limitation of international stakeholders in as far as they can go in expressing themselves on internal affairs.

He says the voter registration exercise was transparent and that no one should complain because all stakeholders were taken on board.

Mr. Kampyongo says for those who may have issues, there are sufficient channels that can be used to address their concerns.

He said Mr. Hichilema is conceding defeat beforehand and has started preparing reasons to justify his defeat.

Mr. Kampyongo said instead of exciting his supporters Mr. Hichilema should encourage them to verify their details in the register.

This is contained in a statement made available to ZNBC News.
