Copperbelt province Minister Japhen Mwakalombe has praised the church for guiding the youth against perpetuating violence as the country heads to the general election.

In a speech read on his behalf by Wusakile Member of Parliament Pavyuma Kalobo, Mr. Mwakalombe said it is gratifying to note that the church has always been talking tough on issues of violence.

This was during the 2021 Boys and Girls Brigade Enrollment and Re-dedication service at the United Church of Zambia Wusakile congregation in Kitwe.

And UCZ Wusakile congregation Reverend, Andrew Chulu said over 300 girls and boys brigade have renewed their certificates.

Reverend Chulu appealed to the girls and boys not to be used as tools of political violence when campaigns heat up.
