Government assures Zambians of peace in run-up to 2021 poll

The Ministry of Home Affairs has assured Zambians that the country will continue enjoying peace before, during and after the 2021 General Elections.
Home Affairs Permanent Secretary MASIYE BANDA has told ZNBC News in an interview in Kabwe that government has bought latest equipment for the Zambia Police to adequately provide security to the nation.
Mr BANDA says maintaining peace is a sure way of ensuring that all the investment which comes in the country is safeguarded.
He says government has done alot for the men and women in uniform and their morale is high.
The Permanent Secretary added that even the construction of houses for Police and Immigration Officers is part of government’s resolve to motivate it’s security agencies.
