Health authorities in Palestine, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Bahrain announced more coronavirus cases, related deaths and recoveries on Tuesday, which were confirmed over the last 24 hours.
As many as 1,561 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Palestine, taking the total to 141,608.
Twenty-nine new virus-linked deaths pushed the tally to 1,316, whereas the number of people recovering from the novel disease rose to 115,824 as 1,808 more patients tested negative following treatment.
In Iraq, a total of 15 people died in the past 24 hours, pushing the nationwide fatality count to 12,725.
With 1,158 new infections, the overall caseload rose to 586,503, including 524,344 recoveries.
Eight more deaths and 181 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, taking the count to 361,359 infections, 6,139 deaths and 352,249 recoveries.
With 149 new infections and 202 recoveries, the caseload in Qatar reached 142,308, along with 243 deaths, and 140,129 recoveries.
In Jordan, 23 people died while another 2,444 got infected, pushing the total to 279,892 cases and 3,627 deaths.
As many as 3,088 patients also regained health, taking the total recoveries to 249,256.
In Bahrain, one more patient died of coronavirus, while 169 tested positive.
The Gulf state’s count now stands at 90,451 cases, 350 deaths, and 88,542 recoveries.
