Mwinilunga residents have complained to CIC in Mwinilunga that government is stealing Gold in Mwinilunga excessively using PF cadres under covered as ZCCM-HI. They say ZCCM-HI has been infiltrated by PF cadres in Mwinilunga getting Gold freely out of the place without locals benefiting anything.
The sources report that one common PF cadre from Copperbelt Kitwe in particular who goes by the name Commander Mulenga or Mr Mulenga or Commander Mule is right there in Mwinilunga given a prominent role to be in charge of sensitive operations. They say more cadres from state house arrived yesterday and have been cleared to enter the mine premises in Kasenseli. It is said that they have been cleared as special Green Security.
“Echu aweni kunu chunakukabakana nankashi iyi gold ana kuisenda hohu kudi owa ama cadre a PF chimwa hoshaku kunyeta na kunyihangá, ilangá chunaku kengá achuleji nehi echu chudi anchu wanyi. (Us owners here we are suffering so much this gold is being taken away by PF cadres whenever we speak we are beaten, arrested and threatened to be killed, now we want to ask them to tell us if at all we are not human beings to be treated like this. Our children are suffering trying to get in the mine to work some yet only cadres from somewhere are the ones now in charge of the entire Mwinilunga).
ZCCM-HI has been accused of being sabotaged by foreign investors and PF cadres who are boasting of coming from state house. CIC in Mwinilunga has officially launched investigations of ZCCM-HI using its journalists to get the facts about the matter and audit of mine personnels being dispatched in Mwinilunga.
Meanwhile Mwinilunga area member of parliament Hon Newton Samakayi will be featured on CIC as he discusses over the same issue.
