Lands Minister Jean Kapata says the Ministry will launch the national land titling programme on Thursday this week, following the successful implementation of the pilot project in Lusaka.

Ms. Kapata says the project is currently being implemented in Lusaka and Ndola and the national launch will ensure it is rolled out to all parts of the country.

She says currently, over 50 thousand titles have been done.

Ms. Kapata told ZNBC News in Lusaka that 30-thousand titles will be given out before the end of the year.

She said next year, the ministry targets to issue 3-hundred thousand titles.

Ms. Kapata has assured Zambians that the programme will touch all parts of the country.

She has further called on citizens in all parts of the country to apply for land titles at the Ministry of Lands offices in respective provinces.
