Rehabilitation works of feeder roads in Chingola’s Soweto township have kicked off.
Nchanga Member Parliament CHALI CHILOMBO who flagged off rehabilitation works told znbc news in an interview that the roads in Soweto have been in a bad state for years.
Mr CHILOMBO said one of the roads being worked on is Soweto Riverside which is an economic road for the people on Soweto and Riverside.
The Nchanga lawmaker further said he is using his personal resources adding that an excavator and two tipper trucks have been engaged in the works.
And some residents mortorists of Soweto township who spoke to znbc news in an interview thanked Mr. CHILOMBO for finally coming to their aid.
