President Lungu takes the lead in the Serenje and Muchinga constituencies.

President Edgar Lungi is the incumbent in the Serenje Central and Muchinga constituencies in Central Province.

According to the findings thus far given by Muchinga and Serenje Central Presiding Officers David Komba and Mukela Akafekwa, respectively.

President Lungu has 3,000 votes in the Muchinga constituency, while his nearest challenger, UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema, has 2,239 votes.

In the Serenje central constituency, the current President has received 3,065 votes, while Mr. Hichilema is in second place with 2,750 votes.

However, results of most of the polling stations in both constituency are yet to be announced at the district totaling centre.
