Putin will end COVID-19 self-isolation with Erdogan talks, according to the Kremlin.

According to the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin will end his period of coronavirus-related self-isolation later on Wednesday when he meets Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

Putin said earlier this month that he would have to spend “a few days” alone after dozens of people in his entourage became ill with COVID-19.

On Wednesday, he will meet with Erdogan in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi. The discussions are expected to centre on Syria.
