Salulani Phiri, a Chipolopolo midfielder, has returned home following a four-year stay with Polokwane City in South Africa.
Phiri became a free agent after his contract with Polokwane expired.
He has since returned to Zanaco on a two-year contract.
“Salulani Phiri joins us as a free agent from Polokwane City on a two-year contract,” Zanaco said on Thursday.
Phiri departed Zanaco in December 2016 to sign a two-and-a-half year contract with Polokwane.
This season, he will be crucial as the Bankers play in the CAF Champions League.
