The Lusaka Magistrate court has jailed NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili for 2 years with hard labour after convicting him on charges of forgery and uttering a false document

The Lusaka Magistrate court has jailed NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili for 2 years with hard labour after convicting him on charges of forgery and uttering a false document.

This was in a matter were Kambwili was facing three counts of forgery, uttering a false document and giving false information to a public officer.

This is in relation to the registration of Kambwili’s company Mwamona Engineering and Technical Services.

In this matter, Kambwili was found guilty by Resident Magistrate David Simusamba.

And delivering judgement today, Magistrate Simusamba jailed Kambwili for 12 months on one count of forgery, and another 12 months for uttering a false document.

The sentences will run concurrently.
