Turkey: 3,780 liters of bootleg alcohol seized

Turkish security forces on Monday seized at least 3,780 liters of bootleg alcohol in separate operations, sources said.

In the Corlu district of northwestern Tekirdag province, police teams raided two different addresses and got hold of 3,500 liters of ethyl alcohol, and kits used in the distillation of bootleg alcohol.

Separately, in southern Antalya province’s Kepez district, gendarmerie teams seized 280 liters of illegal liquor.

Five people were held in connection with the moonshine business.
