Water Development Minister Raphael Nakachinda says government is targeting to reach 100 percent coverage for sanitation facilities in western Province in the next five years.

Mr. Nakachinda says over 950 sanitation facilities have been constructed in Western province.

The Minister adds that the sanitation facilities have been constructed in public places such as schools and markets under a 38-million-dollar facility.

He says the program is aimed at reducing water bone diseases.

Mr. Nakachinda was speaking after inspecting sanitation facilities in Sesheke district.
